It comes five days after leading her team to victory in the AFL Women’s grand final and being awarded the Grand Final Best on Ground medal for her performance, after collecting a match-high 28 possessions.
Her wife Tracy Gahan was with her to celebrate last night.

The 31 year old athlete who has also represented Australia in basketball was honoured to receive the award.
“I’m incredibly humbled to have won this award. To be recognised by your peers is something all athletes hold in high esteem and this is something I will hold very close to my heart for a long time,” she said.
