The case of the missing female PMs and presidents

The case of the missing female PMs and presidents

The Women's Agenda Podcast

How would women’s leadership change the world? With just 30 female presidents and PMs across the globe, it’s a question that we get some answers to when it comes to the changes that have come from such leaders.

This week, Ramona Vijeyarasa joins as guest host to discuss her research into women’s political representation globally, and locally in Australia also.

Ramona is a human rights lawyer, UTS lecturer, the creator of the Gender Legislative Index and author of the recently released The Woman President.

Ramona’s also enjoyed an international career and travelled and interviewed extensively to undertake her research, which she discusses on the podcast.

Also, our wins from the week! We look at audience records on women’s sport, as well as how the media attention being given to a woman overlooked for a high-profile role is actually a win.
